No mention of pvp so you know at least 50% of the game is going to be dogcrap

I’d wager their internal test groups and “obvious” leaks to gauge interest of staying stagnant at 60 likely triggered too many people. People who think the 5-12 hours of added levels matters in the long run.

then why are you here?

same reason as you. Low intelligence

Was a much better reveal than Shadowlands.

SL I had a bad feeling in my gut the whole time. Professions and talent revamps are long overdue imo.

It’s the 9th expansion in an 18 year old game. Of course at the core it’s more of the same. Because this IS the game.

It actually looks pretty good to me. They are taking a lot of fun aspects from other games and bringing them to WoW. Not really a bad thing from what I saw. I am very excited to see talent trees come back again.

The dragon flying looks a lot like Guild Wars 2 mount system. If they do it as good as Guild Wars 2, it’s a huge plus. It even sounds as if you will be upgrading your dragon flying abilities, something else you do in GW2. GW2 has an amazing mount system and Blizzard is smart to use something similar.

Pretty much everything I saw I can relate to another game, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The only thing I didn’t like is cross faction play. I started playing this game in Vanilla so I really like the horde vs. alliance aspect this game has always had. But ah well, it is what it is. But overall, I liked what I saw.

I’m sure many people here were just waiting for the reveal so they could complain about something. It seems to be the cool thing to do here after all.

I was really hoping for some sort of new collection system (be it housing, revamped glyphs/spell effects, ect) or big news about customization and loosened transmog rules. We haven’t had a big game changer for the “for fun” side of things since Legion added the transmog book.

A 3rd expansion of the same old in the a row scares me but I am getting MoP vibes, so maybe it’ll end up good.

After watching today I believe this current dev team is incapable of doing anything new or exciting. I have never seen such a group as unexcited about what they were working as them.

“We’re thinking of getting back to a system where all Conquest gear just scales up to that PvP item level ceiling regardless of your rating. Once its Conquest gear that’s the best stuff for PvP period and then upgrading it and progressing through the ranks from Duelist, Gladiator, and so forth is raising the PvE item level to let you bring it into other high-end content if that’s what you want to do. We think that it’ll make for a better, more skill-oriented competitive experience on the PvP side.”

Once its Conquest gear seems very subjective. I will wait for further analysis.

As far as pvp gear being used in PVE. I personally find most of the pve parts of wow enjoyable, but couldn’t enjoy them in SL because I felt rushed to get through system progression so I could enjoy casual pvp. Meaning I didn’t pay one bit attention to the campaign because I just wanted to get to a point where I could enjoy random battlegrounds

There actually is news on PvP

They just had an interview. Big PvP changes coming.

Anyway, what did you want for a new expansion?

What changes? All I saw was quotes and ideas

Go. To. WoWhead. Stop being dense.

Blizzard hates pvp we all already know this. It will be more of the same. We already have covenants and renown returning. This just sounds like shadowlands 2.0 with a new race and class. Woohoo
