New Wow VS Old Wow

All nonsensical buzzword soup as usual.

Yet you claim you made it to the end of classic, a game played by hitting literally 0-2 buttons which takes way longer and is infinitely worse.

All nonsensical buzzword soup as usual.

If I want to do hard delves I need to waste my time doing a bunch of low level delves that offer no challenge, and also do crappy world content to unlock keys.

And (correct me if I’m wrong) but the keys are limited per week. Soooo.

Yet you claim you made it to the end of classic

Yes. Because classic is fun at level one and only gets boring when you reach max level.

Retail is just boring from start to finish.

I’m sorry you have adhd and can’t enjoy any game that isn’t a turbo action game with twitch like reflexes. Go play call of duty.

Even a level 3 delve that you can do while leveling is harder than anything in classic.

You can make a gif that you click on to have someone automatically swing a sword at a wolf. That’s level 1. That’s the classic “fun”.

On what class brother? Not on any class I’ve seen. The mobs literally do 0 damage.

Yea timing your auto attack with your abilities was the only thing keeping people awake…and retail removed it…now they game is just “roll your face on the keyboard and hope for random procs”

Mine would be bringing back the classic leveling experience. Leveling in current WoW is almost nonexistent and has absolutely 0 challenge. I feel like this incentivized the use of professions or other items to improve survivability, adding to the enjoyment.

Any. There are mobs that have actual mechanics.

Mate, if a two-second timer to not do anything was the most exciting part of your game, that’s a terrible game. Buy yourself a metronome, it doesn’t need a subscription.

The faster leveling is a must. I was 10 years old and I hated classic leveling then and I hate it now. I prefer a tighter replayable leveling loop than some drawn out 10 minute pointless time wasting walk somewhere.

The only thing that was great about classic WoW today that holds up today is tremendously less time gating in rep, and an incredible world. There was less in the zones, more zones but each zone had a story regarding everything in Warcraft 3 and new in WoW.

Remove Phoenix Flames from fire mage… in fact make every class fun outside of 2-3 minute big dps cooldowns because that feels horrible currently where you only do damage during cooldowns.

I’d also like it to be a video game and not some monetary greed game with time gating that prevents players from clearing everything in a week or two if they want. Idk, this blizzard doesn’t have the talent to make WoW 2 that improves upon everything to have the same cultural impact classic WoW had for 6 years. It seems impossible. So these discussions are useless.

You’d rather have it be 0 challenge but also take 40 hours? Absolutely not.

Any. There are mobs that have actual mechanics.

Mobs in westfall literally have more meaningful mechanics. They have a root…and can run away. And this singular mechanic is infantry more likely to kill players than anything in low level delves.

Most of the time they just summon a swirling circle that doesn’t even do significant damage!

Meanwhile interrupting a cast on a defies pillager saves so much HP and time, it’s actually meaningful.

You’re literally saying that you get bored if you don’t press a button for 2 seconds in a video game…get Adderall dude.

“oh no I have to play the game.”

Boo hoo.

Oh no, they have one mechanic where they randomly root. That’s almost sort of close to being meaningful, except nobody cares because there’s 0 gameplay involved. It might as well be an autoattack, it just happens.

“Oh no I have to afk simulator through the most boring content that’s ever been in the game so that Bulemy can pretend it’s hard”

It might as well be an autoattack, it just happens.

Well obviously it only matters if you or the enemy are trying to run away…but you see how those 2 mechanics combine and create a dynamic scenario? Fun is happening, challenge is occurring, gameplay.

“Oh no I have to afk simulator through the most boring content that’s ever been in the game so that Bulemy can pretend it’s hard”

I just don’t see how people who hate WoW leveling can even call themselves WoW fans…what do you do in this game? Just hang out in stormwind and RP? Raidlog?

And hey. I won’t dump on delves too much. I appreciate the feature. It’s just not perfect.

Old: we got the 3 MAIN STATS in one only class
Old: off subweapons and Relics, Bows and Ranges, Throws.
New: the hud options yeah… i love this option.
New: the new Talents system
Old: the Glyphs systems
Old: the Reforging system
New: more Trasmog Customization.
Old: Female and Male Character NO BODY 1 AND 2.
New: more Dirty jokes
Old: begin the expansion with only land mounts for know the new experience zone, i mean the Pathfinder.
New: HD desing
Old: Resilience and pvp Stats, NOT JUST VERSATILITY.
Old: come back Faction war lore AGAIN.

Not the easiest content while complaining that it is the easiest content.

It picks up level 10. learn new weapons, 2+ minutes of missing the auto’s as you level it up.

I usually make those e-mail days. Leave org/sw, bully some trash mobs out of the gate, they can’t kill a say level 20 easy. so you more safely miss lots of auto’s as you read e-mail.

Let me guess…

You spam the same dungeons over and over and over and over again.

And you think THAT content isn’t mindnumbingly boring?

Content where there’s actual challenge and a gameplay loop as opposed to either autoattack or hitting one button? No, those are leagues apart. If you cap out at “autoattack” that’s fine, classic is over that way.

Turtle WoW is currently the best version out there

Individual servers and community from vanilla, keys from retail.

There is nothing more mindless and boring than being a ranged dps in a dungeon group.

Every dungeon is just the tank doing all the work while the healer babysits their 3 idiot children.

Sorry but end game content in WoW has never been good. It’s just cheaply made repetitive trash designed to artificially prolong peoples playtime and subscriptions.

The meat of the game has always been the leveling experience.
