Classic WoW
Pros:
Nostalgia: Offers the original World of Warcraft experience, preserving the game’s early mechanics and storylines.
Community: Smaller, more tight-knit player base. Players often help each other out, fostering a friendly environment.
Challenge: More difficult leveling and gameplay, requiring time and dedication.
Cons:
Grind: Leveling up can be slow and requires significant effort.
Limited Content: Fewer races and expansions compared to Retail.
Population: Smaller player base, which might make it harder to find friends to play with.
Retail WoW
Pros:
Content: Constantly updated with new expansions, offering a wide variety of activities and endgame content.
Quality of Life: Improved gameplay mechanics, better graphics, and more customization options.
Accessibility: Easier for new players to get into, with streamlined leveling and more intuitive systems.
Cons:
Complexity: Can be overwhelming due to the sheer amount of content and features.
The slower World (xp) progression no no just a time waster not needed
Trainers necessary again no just a time waster not needed
No account-wide anything no just a time waster not needed
No hand-holdy crap classic was so easy no 1 needed help to learnt heir class but the game is harder now and most rotations are more then the classic 2 button
No pop-ups doesnt do anything and addons can turn these off
No talking headS doesnt do anything and addons can turn these off

classic is not challenging… at all
everything has bloated health per your damage to just waste the players time that made everything “difficult”

more story telling like in classic then current era.
would be nice if we got newer races that are just either here as diplomats, or just flat out here cause… its slightly nicer.
Leave out dragonflights terrible class design and that all sounds amazing.
Bro you can’t just copy paste a ChatGPT answer like that. You gotta change it up a little bit dawg.

They went from focusing on storytelling and lore to focusing on the in-game store.
We have warmode On/Off, how about giving us Story Mode On/Off?
Everyone you come across is in a rush, or, into storymode, which would mean more RP, more chat, more players thatvlike to group up for world content, etc. More dungeon quests and full clear.
The main problem is that most players have, been there, done that, and are somewhat worn out.

this right here. Not to mention, there is plenty of story threads they could wrap up/continue on the original continents.
- What is going on with the plague of undeath in Tirisfal, WPL, and EPL? What even about the Undead race, in general? Do they live forever? Or is there lifespan (or un-lifespan, if you will) finite?
- What about all the Orc clans that still live in Redridge and raid the town of Lakeshire?
- What about the Nightelves, now that they are no longer immortal?
Honestly, the list goes on and on. There is so much they could do with the original story.
It’s always funny to me how all of these petty threats persist given the scope of the threats we deal with now.
Like Westfall, Darkshire and Lakeshire are all still suffering from a lack of resources from storm wind. Not enough troops to defend their territory from bandits and remnant orc bands etc. Meanwhile the king of stormwind is busy building a mega army to load onto a spaceship and kill the biggest god in the universe.

I bet you think any turn based rpg that doesn’t require twitch-like reflexes is unchallenging.
Trainers necessary again no just a time waster not needed
It was also an early game gold sink. Which is important to make gold valuable in the early game.
The slower World (xp) progression no no just a time waster not needed
No…it’s more content…if you don’t like killing mobs in WoW why do you play this game? Please explain that to me. The whole game is killing mobs. Wouldn’t you want MORE reasons to kill mobs?
No hand-holdy crap classic was so easy no 1 needed help to learnt heir class but the game is harder now and most rotations are more then the classic 2 button
it’s the complete opposite. Retail is so braindead easy that you can run around pressing a single button and never come close to dying.
No talking headS doesnt do anything
Good. If they don’t do anything then delete them. Because they’re annoying.
No pop-ups doesnt do anything
Good. If they don’t do anything then delete them. Because they make the UI look ugly and bloated.
No account-wide anything
I don’t even know what this means.
Blizzard actually paying people to GM, moderate the game, and test the game is all I’d really bring back.

If you are running through a zone to get some mining done and there is a mob of werewolves chillen right next to the ore, you only have one potion left no mana or anything to eat boom dead.
I wouldn’t use an AI to write my post.

Mate, go play classic. You’re lucky to have a 2 button rotation including cooldowns, anyone who touched the game knows that.

I was literally just playing a warlock in classic. Every single pull has a different/dynamic rotation that depends on how much health & mana I have at the start of the pull, and how many enemies I’m pulling.
meanwhile last time I played retail my monk could just run around spamming blackout kick and everything would die.
and misses. Lots of misses. Or resists. this is why era s. priest has a talent jsut for that. Since its fun when even a trash mob laughs off your mind blast. and word:pain. In a fight I attack like 15 times, 2 of those are pain failing and the 2nd hit. and failed mind blasts. missed wand. at point blank range.
in classic rogue even eviscerate…can miss. A common classic try out question by rogues from retails. Why am I missing so much? because…it gets better at 60, suffer well as the dk’s say till then.
that makes horde poison quests fun. Gallywix the guard is hitting you, you are missing him. Bring a friend or overlevel. I got lucky, AH poison was cheap so I lived off that I till completed horde poison quest.
Shadowbolt if one target, rain of fire if multiple.
Do anything remotely hard, which you adamantly refuse to do because you would rather play classic.

Shadowbolt if one target, rain of fire if multiple.
The only time you should be spamming shadowbolt is after you use demonic sacrifice in a a single target raid fight.
Literally no other instance in the game where that rotation is optimal.
Rain of fire spam is pretty omnipresent in dungeons I’ll give you that…but who doesn’t love aoeing down some dungeons as a caster???
Do anything remotely hard
All the hard content in retail is heavily recycled and timegatted and tied to end game. I can’t even make it to end game without falling asleep.
