Is Stalagg the same name they had on stress test server or am I misremembering. If so why would you copy paste the same name? If I was to roll to this server I would like a decent name, Stalagg is not a good name imo.
People will complain regardless, they can lock it until the launch(or for a few days, not permanently), just enough to re-direct people for the time being. If they want to play with their friends, they can. Just a way to temporarily push people elsewhere, unless they’re dedicated, in which they can wait for it to open back up again(before launch). It’ll just deter those who are just joining just because.

'69 Stingray’s base motor was a ZQ3, making 300hp.
Focus RS has a 2.3, and makes 350.
Civic Type-R has a 2.0 and makes 305.
Hell, my '18 Civic Si has a 1.5, and with the tune on it I’m making 260. And I weigh about 500 pounds less than a '69 Stingray.

Car and Driver did a run with a 1968 model with a 427 (400 hp) and did 14.1 @ 102. My best run with my 260 hp Civic is a 14.1 at 101.3.

I’m hoping some people from other servers move over. There’s always the fear that a server will be dead within a few months, but I doubt that will happen even with the lowest pop classic server. My group is trying to decide what we want to do.

Will this server be based in Chicago or la? because sometimes the time zone didn’t determine the server location in retail.

Do you really want to replace that bass rumble under the hood with a sewing machine? If you’re gonna put that time and effort (and money) into it, why not put in a C8 or at least a C7 engine…

There are a lot of people who are not going to sub until the day of Classic release. I’m pretty sure those who are reserving names now are just a fraction of the number of players that plan on playing.
