Realm forum on Reddit. Would be nice to centralize factions/guilds in one place.
Blizzard could you PLEASE just tell us how many characters have been made on each server, that would allow your playerbase to get a better understanding of how many people should move. Currently I’m on Herod and am reluctant to move, but if the new server Stalagg has 1/20th of the population of Herod, and Herod is planning on having multi hour que at the end of layering, I would 100% push for my guild to move their. We are just asking for more information supported by numbers, please.

I find it funny that many people seemed to think that there wouldn’t be queues with layering. The other recent blue post is warning people of queues on highly populated realms. Many people have been for layering because they thought it would eliminate queues.
I myself don’t mind queues, got used to them in Vanilla. I would just log on about 30 minutes to an hour before I could actually play. So, layering don’t remove queues all. No more misconception on that. It might reduce them somewhat.

Highly likely, but better to be on a low-medium population welcoming more players than a server with a queue already.
Is it too late to change that name? I believe there is a Stalagg in EU too, so there might be confusion.
Highly doubt this. There are plenty of people that do not want to play on such a high pop realm for many reasons, super long que times included.

Blizzard, you should really consider doing a live updated faction tally for each server. Like take the amount of Horde and Alliance name reservations per server and add them to a nice little page where people can go and see the faction balances. Just a hunch, but it could definitely help make some of the badly imbalanced servers a little more balanced. No one knowing leaves no room for possible corrections.

Why? We have pvp realms that aren’t full yet and adding another just hurts everyone that isn’t Herod.
I have no clue what you’re talking about chief. There are some of us who want groups to run 100% smoothly without issues such as language barriers. Are you just wanting to be offended or something?

YES PLEASE! I too would like to see the faction balances instead of guessing. It could even just be a ratio on the server page if you added a new column…

creating 3 characters is a problem already, servers are artificially 3x higher than they will be on launch day.
