Been meaning to play it again just super busy. Game had potential not sure its full potential will ever be met but that seems pretty standard for gaming devs lately.

I don’t own the expansion, so I figured I wouldn’t be able to play the relaunch anyway lol. (I think you need it, and it’s still full asking price, no discounts.)
I had fun at the start, but that quickly dried up. Enjoyed the weapon abilities, and exploration.
PvP was a bit fun as well.
I was honestly considering it.
But, not gonna buy an expansion for a game that may or may not revive itself lol.

I played it when it first came out, redownloading it now to give it another shot, Not sure how its gonna go! I am probably gonna have to start a brand new character instead of using old one just because i have r\forgotten how to play!

No, I played it for a couple of years in alpha and the direction they took sucks compared to what it could’ve been. Combine that with automated bans and it is a horrible experience all around.
They’ve fixed and changed so much. I hope you have fun! I’ve been loving it so much. It’s a nice break from WoW once I’ve done everything on my characters.
After what happened with Wildstar and Marvel Heroes, I’m in the same boat.

I’ll have two number 9s, a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two number 45s, one with cheese, and a large soda.
I tried it again like 3 months back. Still a dumpster fire.

As for OP… I never tried (or cared to try) New World and even less so now.
As Dremin said with what happened to Wildstar, that was partly what pushed me away from trying a lot of new MMO’s, that and City of Heroes I enjoyed and it’s gone bye bye too so…
I don’t care anymore about new MMO’s, it’s WoW for me when I want my MMO fix or when i need a change I dip into ESO or FFXIV for a month lol, but even those I haven’t launched in a while.
Don’t forget the diet coke!
