there will be a new layout on how the world map will look like in terms of art not anything fancy and stuff like that.

MMO champions has two version of the same map but one doesn’t have the rock formations.

Yeah, it would definitely be better if they scaled down Kul Tiras and Zandalar, since they were upscaled for the map…
… But a Mercator Projection of Earth exaggerates continents as well and it’s the most commonly used map in North America. Antarctica, Greenland and Russia are all enlarged.
Imagine what the map will look like in Midnight and the Last Titan when old zones are enlarged to fit the new zone design fundamentals 
I hope they do away with the rocks. They feel so out of place.

I wish an add-on would let me have an accurate world map.
I get it. They want the continents to be easy to click on.
But they could also just make the map accurate and put a list of continents on the side or add a drop down menu to go to the exact continent/zone you want.
The meme is funny, but the the map isn’t nearly as full as people think - because the scale of the map is ridiculous. Kul Tiras is a small island. It’s not the size of Pandaria.
Khaz Algar (Isle of Dorn) is presumably an even smaller island than Kul Tiras.

Yeah, it is canonically miniscule.
