Must be a new record on how fast a game is declining in players … WoW lasted 17 years before going down . New World lasted 2 months

Everything that has come out in the last 17 years has been called a WoW killer. I’m not a wow fan-boi, but after a certain point folks need to realize the only thing that will kill wow is what kills us all. Time.

Historically every AAA MMO that launched in the last decade lasted about a year before they went on a decline. GW2, SWTOR, etc. are all at fractions of their original populations.
FF14 is one of the few exceptions that has maintained steady growth.
