There’s a new pet this year from the stolen present you get for defeating the Greench. Took me six tries and from Wowhead comments it doesn’t seem anywhere near as rare as Arfus was. Also there are lots of Winter’s Veil transmog items available on the vendor for 15-30 gold apiece.
One other nice new feature is an Goblin NPC that will give you a quick transport to the Greench.
Edited to add that the pet is cageable too, so worse case scenario, those with terrible luck still have a way to get the pet.
