I would love to be able to use whips as a weapon, maybe for demon hunters, mid ranged, has the potential to disarm opponents talented (or just baked into a class ability like a ranged disarm). Come to think of it demon hunters need a 3rd spec, maybe this can be call the punisher spec. Chain whips, maybe lightning whips, what do you think

I wouldn’t be opposed to whips, but I’m still hoping for more tech and a Tinker class.
Aren’t there some flails in the game, though they’re in the mace class? If not, that would be a good addition. The Crusader in D3 uses those and the animations are great.

They won’t because whips are attributed to human violence and slavery. And WoW is now world of safezonecraft.
Warrior artifact weapon skin is a flail.
I’m thinking of them as a CC device for snaring a fleeing mob around the ankles.

I mean it would be cool to see weapons like that in the game and could go with so many transmogs for Paladins, warlocks, mages, and warriors.

prefer swords chain, but Why do I want another new weapon if the Warglaive is only DH main weapon? and this damn Expansion didn’t drop me in the vault or in Tarragrue a Warglaive that I need to be a worthy Demon hunter?
That is necessary to think if they will serve for some class or more than 2 classes, as I also want other weapons such as musical instruments for the bard.
And others that we only saw in Warcraft in the RTS, like the giant logs that the Taurens use in Warcraft 3.

I don’t think it needs a 3 spec, it was created with 2 due to the fantasy around the class, besides adding more balance issues to the already huge problem with classes and systems, i would prefer new classes with 1-2 specs like Tinker or Skins for classes.
Whips seem more like a shaman thing to me.
But I even RP that Su-Hee has one. XD
