You lose the form when you transform so you have to waste a gcd to get back into it
There is zero difference between using treant as your healing form or or race’s form when it comes to transforming. One would assume that one would start the fight out in the preferred form and only shift out as appropriate, which engages the shifting GCD’s anyway.
The current one is a new version that came out in legion. Not saying its great or anything, but its disingenuous to say its the same one from vanilla.
They really should figure out how to make customizing forms similar to how hunters do it. Find a form in the wild you like, clone it somehow. Solves a lot of the blandness of the class. People love transmogging
