Am new to WOW I need some advice
Welcome to Azeroth!
The generic advice for new players is: just keep questing through the zones until you find something you can’t handle, or are getting bored or unsatisfied with questing. Then start looking around for information, or maybe try a different character, different class, different race that you might like better. And that’s good advice.
However, if you are coming from another game background, especially another MMO like FF14, you will already know the ropes, and may want to ask specific directions to get where you already know you want to go.
In your case, I see you have made a Timerunner character. If you are a truly new player, I wouldn’t do that.
Pandaria Remix Timerunning is a special mode of the game meant to fill in the summer until the next expansion The War Within starts. It is a variant of WoW with a limited timespan - about 65 days left now, I think. It is not real WoW. It is meant for people already playing WoW who are preffy much done with the current expansion Dragonflight, and want something to occupy them.
So, unless you have a special reason to choose Pandaria Remix Timerunning, I would start a new character within the regular game.
That is my main advice for where you are at right now.
If you make an Alliance character, I would suggest al a larger Alliance realm like Sargeras, or Dalaran. You can Change Realm using the button on the top right of your character screen to change realm and create a new character there.

P.S. I now notice you have chosen Mistweaver specialision on your Monk. Mistweaver is good at healing other people in a party. It is not good at questing through the world. If you make another Monk, I would suggest you choose Windwalker (high damage) or Brewmaster (Tank - does less damage than Windwalker but very very tough to kill) as your specialisation at level 10.

I was curious about the time runner thing but am on a Trial am have to buy time
Pandaria Remix Timerunning will finish in two months. Then your Timerunner character will be placed into the main game as a regular character.
You can certainly play it as long as you want, but all the stuff about gear rewards and gems is not in the real game, and so when you are in the real game, it will be a shock, since your gear and way of playing will be fairly different.
Until you buy game time, you are limited to not get above level 20. You can play up to level 20 as long as you like, and you can make up to 60 characters. You could use that to try out different classes and races, see what you like.

Can you be a merchant on here?
You cannot play as a merchant.
You can, however, play the Auction House 
The Auction House is a place where players can put goods up for sale, and other can buy them (with the Auctioneers taking a 5% cut, naturally).
The Auction House is BIG, with thousands of items selling at any one time. If you have the mind for it, and the persistence, you can make A LOT of gold buying cheap and reselling.
Which may not be the same as playing as a merchant, but for the few people that have the interest and the skill, it’s very lucrative.
You cannot use the AH until you have game time, though.
