Hey all, I’ve been a PVP focused person casually anyway for the entirety of DF. Seeing as there is nothing new to this Season (4) I thought I might try my shot at PVE for once and do maybe M+ and whatever that entails.
However I am wondering if anyone can provide me some direction, where do I start? Should I do heroics or jump straight into M0s? Thanks!
go straight into low level m+ group finder if that’s what you want to do, you have enough item level from last season pvp gear already

464 is a little light to be hitting anything but a +2, especially if you’re more casual.
If you’re looking to get into PvE, I would recommend either doing 0’s or +2’s to get familiarized with it, then obviously LFR.
The absolutely best way to do it is join a guild that does Mythic+ nights or just casual raiding, get a feel for it, then work your way up from there.
Attempting to pug is going to be a pain for you, and if you’re playing with a guild that introduces PvE to new players, there is more opportunity to learn and less chance of being flamed.
That’s my take.
Heroics, weekly and world quests will help you gear up quickly. M0 is a good place to learn how to do mechanics, as they’re not quite as easy to ignore as they are in Heroics.
If you’ve got the hang of doing dungeons, Awakened LFR is super easy right now and a quick way to gear up. Just follow what the crowd does. Most fights just come down to…
- Don’t stand in the bad stuff or opaque circles.
- Do stand in the translucent circles to help “soak” the damage.
- If you get an AoE attached to you, most of the time you want to take it away from the group until it falls off.
- Don’t stand in front of the boss’s face.
The rest is just fight-specific stuff that takes practice. The fights are all under-tuned so it’s a great time to get in and blast 'em.
