New to Lightninghoof

I have been playing WoW since 2004 and am finally giving RP a try. I have noticed the server is pretty empty as i have been playing. Is there anything going on, or did I just choose the wrong server to play as an alliance?

We’re a low to medium population server. I don’t mind it that way, though some might prefer more crowds.

For Maelstrom at least, there’s a tradition of not separating our roleplay from our game play. You’re as likely to see us roleplaying while we’re out killing Horde as around town.

Because of cross realm zoning, chance meetings in the wild don’t happen much any more. It can help to be in guilds or server based communities so you can find roleplay friendly parties. Find me or anyone in < Huntress > in game and we’ll invite you to Alliance Council, which may help you find such groups.

You chose the wrong server. Go with Emerald dawn. The hoof has been dead for years. Getting bundled with some other servers helped, but it’s still pretty dead. Most of the people you see in the world are just ED people which are sharded with us but you can’t guild/trade with them.

That said, the ED folks do have a bad habit of trying to get people to leave other former RPPVP servers.

Yes because everyone only has 1 character right? This is my character I made to try to get off the server, but I can’t bring myself to leave all my LH characters.

The last time this server came close to medium pop was way back in legion days…it has been low pop for all of BFA and even worse on the alliance side. I literally log into stormwind and there are 4 people there…including me…it’s bad. OP picked the wrong server plain and simple…unless he wants to rare farm…I LOVE having toons here for the rare farms.

We went up to medium pop for the first couple of weeks of BFA until war mode fell apart. Now that war mode is fixed, I see more people again, though without the help of a new expansion release, we haven’t gotten back to medium pop.
