New to Fistweaving

I see a few posts on this topic and a few that I agree with. I feel as if there are a lot of players on here that don’t understand how to fistweave or realize that healing on a mistweaver monk is not the same as rolling HoTs on a druid. I have personally played every healer in the game (besides evoker) for the last up-teen years. I shied away from MW monk for the longest time. I just picked up the playstyle 3 days ago. Got to level 70, bought AH gear, and got to the M+ grind. I have just reached 1k IO, 383 ilvl, and really enjoying the class. It is extremely fun. I mained a VDH with 2200 IO pushing 17s/18s, I want to get this MW up there and call it my main. Every 5 item levels you get, actually feels good. You can notice the difference in your heals.

I did my research, watched Toxic (#1 MW) on YouTube and learned the playstyle. I was 360 ilvl pushing 10s and 11s. I am only doing my key to avoid the no invites to groups. What I can say is that I have timed every dungeon with at least +2.

There are somethings that need tweaked and buffed, I do not know what those are right now until I push a little higher. What I can say is that if I can do this anyone can. It is a fun class that is not played often at high keys so it doesn’t become recognized.

Started one from 60 yesterday. Going to lvl all the way as such to get used to it. Really like different styles of gameplay and this one seems very fun compared to other healers

I’m glad you are having fun with it!

I understand how to fistweave. I just hate it. I much prefer the flexibility and on demand throughput of my tear of morning cleave build. I’m still climbing keys myself, in the +11-14 range right now with a score of 1600 ish. I look forward to seeing how it works out in the climb.

Please don’t think I’m bashing fistweaving. I’m not, it’s just not my style. I am happy to welcome another mistweaver to the community!
