I think a lot of the charm in the game is supposed to be a fantasy setting, and while having mechanically minded gnomes and engineers are cute, I just don’t see how a tinker class is different enough from engineer that it warrants being its own thing. I prefer when Blizzard makes a new class out of left field, like Evoker.

Are we just going to ignore all the machinary around us? Fantasy with steampunk, crystal tech and fusion energy. I mean, a lot of the raids are just huge computers as buildings in Wrath.
I can respect that, but I don’t see Evokers being revolutionary other than their movement while casting, they are just mages to me, especially since a lot of it is just mage requested things, If not tinkers, I think witch doctors, void knights, would be pretty good.
