A number of the new tier/pvp sets seem to be missing a bunch of their 3D elements when comparing basic level to mythic/elite. I have to assume these are unintended as most of the sets seem to be entirely the same models, with the mythic/elite sets just adding some cool lightning effects. The ones I’ve noted are:
Druids - Probably the worst. The non-mythic/non-elite sets are missing their whole 3d chest piece and several of their danglies on their waist. Presumably due to it also only appearing as a tunic rather than a robe. The complete set looks cool, but with those missing parts it looks terrible.
Shaman - The non-mythic/non-elite sets appear to only have a tunic style chest piece. Much like the druids. They do at least look fully 3D, but they expose the extremely flat and undetailed leg and foot armor.
Warrior - This one is strange because it’s actually the mythic/elite sets that lose elements. The rocky neck pieces disappear. It seems absurd for the higher level gear to have less detail.
I’ve had a look at all the classes currently live and I’m pretty sure it’s just these ones. Like I said, given the consistency of the models for most of the classes I have to assume these missing parts are just a bug. I just hope they get fixed before the raid and season start.
