It’s time for us to finally shine! 
What’s with blizzard and always overly design armours/forcing oversized accessories.
Least they could have given us variations without it but no… Toilet bowls for everyone!
First of all, that’s HIGHLY subjective. But having said that, holy crap, no they don’t lol.
Almost every single priest set in recent history looks like Blizzard painted a bathrobe on my character. Granted, some of the very early cloth sets looked nice, like priest T2, 3, and 5. But cloth doesn’t have to = bathrobes, or floor length robes in general. Cloth armor can have other types of material added to it, case in point, the current priest tier. Because, yes, it looks like there’s metal bits, but the base material is clearly cloth.
Even real life armor sets are rarely one type of material, and almost all of them incorporate cloth into them in some way even if it’s just padding.
Glad someone else mentioned this. For me Priest have only had 7 good sets across pve and pvp.
Funny that leather is hardly an armor type irl.
