So now we have invokers cord and invokers mantle thtat give spell power, i was wondering if it’s an upgrade to belt of arugal and feline mantle , because I crafted them and it’s says it’s an upgrade but my gearscore dropped so Im confused
Yes they’re better than the sfk cloth gear.
Gear score doesn’t really work with how classic does stats on gear.
Higher gear score does not mean better gear for most classes and specs.
Example: A mage could have full lvl 25 cloth gear that has strength, agi, spirit on every piece and have a higher gear score than one that actually has int and spell power on lvl 20 gear.

Gearscore is a bad addon that gives a false sense of whats good. “bigger number go up” is a very bad way of juding item strength. I could wear all high item level str gear as a mage and it would be worse than lower item level spellpower gear significantly.
don’t use gear score.

Itemization in Classic wow isn’t good for GS. GS is calculated by ilvl and you could have a ilvl 40 item that’s prebis at 60 and think it’s bad. Streamlined itemization for GS doesn’t come til wrath/cata.
The BFD gear is well optimized I will say.

Not unlike memorizing phone numbers, vs just having them stored in your phone.
The gear score will ruin your ability to think for yourself.
Learn your classes priority stats, which areas you are lacking, and how these translate into your personal play style.

Spell power has it’s own hidden coefficient based on the ability you are casting. It is certainly going to be better than Int in almost any situation. 10 int from the mantel only gives you .2% crit or something.
What are you using to determine this? You should probably look at the stats on each, and assess which one has better values for what you’re trying to optimize.
They’re an upgrade for just about anyone using cloth except maybe Priest healer.

For anyone who thinks GS is a good gauge, try this.
Take your epic profession item (void touched) and take it on and off and see how your gs changes.
It changes by 4.
This addon is not meant for SoD, let alone Classic Vanilla. Item level doesn’t = upgrade.

yes, classic gear actually has personality, unlike the robotic +stat slots that is retail gear 
Most of it. Then there’s stuff like the 1% pet damage ring or the 4 damage to beasts shoulders
