Anybody have ideas for new systems?

You kill monsters, and they drop experience and items that make your character stronger. Best system ever.
Well not a new system, but iāve been looking into the racials of every race, and im planning on āwriting up a suggestionā for how to make racial abilites stand out a bit more, so the players racial choice can be a bit more fun an impactful.
But if i get the time iāll probably think of some new systems as well, since i do enjoy new systems, and I think things are better when theres lots of minor factors that add up to a character, instead of just class and covenant lol
Iām thinking a new currency that is combined from korthia and torghast drops with a minute by minute currency cap that can be used to buy shards of domination from a vendor that only has one shard at a time but changes which one randomly every week.
Yeah, gear permanently degrades over time so that people who hardcore play like crazy will always āhave something to doā in replacing their gear, and then the general population wonāt have to deal with timegates and ap grinds.
Yeah itās called Player Housing. But itās completely divorced from player power and you donāt have to do it if you would rather grind or raid.
I also have this crazy idea for ending the current factions (Horde imbalance is terminal) and instead dividing players along the lines of āhousesā they voluntarily choose to associate with of which there are 6-8 and which together form two competing coalitions for the purposes of PvP. Players would be able to with some effort (completable within two months) switch āhousesā should their current one say change allegiances and take them from their friends. Houses would be based around things like class fantasies and moral alignments: one would be for example a kind of rogueās/criminalās syndicate, another more faith based one (holy light so priests, paladins), engineering and trade one, magic one, druidic and shamanism back to nature type one, etc. Blizzard would never go for it but it would allow them to balance faction sizes on the fly every expac or so via short story based betrayals or shifting allegiances to move the alignment of houses around. It would also allow players to play with who they want in whatever city they want on whatever race they want. Could lead to better story-telling opportunities.
Rep with opposite faction⦠ends with being able to queue pvp with ANY faction
An expansion towards Box of Many Things that allows 3 additional legendary powers with a few caveats:
- One must be Power from the Shadowlands (Covenant Legendary, Echo of Eonar, Third Eye of the Jailer, etc.)
- One must be Power based on your class (Covenant Legendary, Wilfredās, Demonic Synergy)
- One must be Power based on your spec that changes based on your spec (Malefic Wrath, Grim Inquisitor, Frenzied Monstrosity)
You can still wear your legendary gear as a wild card, allowing you to possess a total of 4 legendary powers at a time.
The purpose of this one is expanding the legendary, being pigeonholed into ONE power kinda sucks and it feels like a waste of time of them creating new legendary powers that no one will end up using or experimenting.
All of this with a side of Player Housing that does not tie to Player Power whatsoever.
60 stays the cap forever.
New Paragon Season system a-la Diablo.
Get new stats to apply to your character, Paragon level are account wide(yes you can be a level 20 with 3000 paragon level for a season).
So basically just removing the ability to repair gear so when it breaks and becomes useless you have to replace it.
Didnāt the last Zelda game do that with weapons? Sounds like one of those fabled RPG elements Blizz wants to bring back to the game like āmeaningful choiceā. Hell, it even plays into the meaningful choice! Do you want to waste your good gear on trash, or save it for the boss? Better have four sets of gear on you for raids and M+. One set for trash, one set for bosses and backup set for each in case something breaks!
We really shouldnāt be giving Blizz all these free ideas.

A new DPS spec for each class with a 3 ability rotation and 0 GCD. Also has health equal to a tank by default.
Eat the suits and return Blizz to its former glory.
iād like to see a whole mount progression system in the future.
Something that lets us customize existing ones, with like armor, reigns, etc.
Imagine making your average gold gryphon look super cool leaving fairy dust trails in the sky
maybe even expand on mount equipment, so that if they introduce difficult terrain to navigate (like Revendreth for example), there might be some ways to overcome world obstaclesā¦like maybe a yeti mount that can learn how to climb mountain sides/cliffs, water walkers, or long jumping mountsā¦
other types of mmoās have these types of systems which I think would fit in well with WoW, especially if they want to delay flying at the start of their expansions.
Ok seriously this time. I want mounted combat features and flying to be expanded on.
All I know is that I carry so many currencies in the game itās ridiculous.
The problem stems from hard core gamers who amass vast amounts of coinage overnight so the powers that be create a bazillion other currencies to keep them happy. The 95% of us casual gamers are left behind with bags and bags of unusable or where the heck did this come from currency.
None. No new borrowed power systems at least. Theyāre overly complicated and always take forever to even remotely become playable. Letās be real here, pandemic or no pandemic, it most likely wouldnāt have taken this long to get a patch like this out, if there were no borrowed power systems.
More bag space⦠make currencies actually go into currency tab⦠no more 16 types of Anima or Research in bags please!

Fix professions and add new content monthly for them⦠quests and paths.
Re to introduce character running⦠yes talent trees. Make it so your character customizations actually mean something. Your choices should have an effect on you.
Add tuning points at 60⦠no more leveling at end. Points are used to add to base stats like crit leach and agility. They will scale down per expansion with a stat squish but will still carry with each expansion. This could lead to a bad tuning so possibility to open new talents or another mixed talent tree to the mix.
Split M+ timed vs untimed. If you select untimed you will get max level gear form M0 but gear is tagged MU so that you can not equip gear in competitive play like timed and PvP and competitive raids. Drop rates will greatly be improved for untimed. Only people seeking timed runs will have RIO data and everything past that is an achievement for timed runs.
Split raids like M0 also add LFR heroic and mythic.
Bring back PVP gear with resistance and dumb it down for PVE.
Bring the lore back lol
Just take professions out of the game alreadyā¦
