Y’all, I am so hyped right now. The official Subnautica 2 has been confirmed and is going to be released either later this year, or coming in 2025! And the best part? THERE IS GOING TO BE CO-OP ADDED IN WITHOUT THE USE OF MODS!

I thought Subnautica: Below Zero was Subnautica 2? 
In any case, I definitely want more Subnautica. 
I really liked the first one. 
Whenever there was danger I’d just close the door to the cockpit in the cyclops and pretend that I was safe. 
There were no windows in the back after all, so I couldn’t see the danger. 
Didn’t much care for Below Zero though (it didn’t have the cyclops and felt too cramped, though the base building was a bit better from what I recall).
But co-op would be amazing.

I mean same lol. Below Zero is the sequel yes, but the interview with the dev that Anthomnia had, the official name for the next game is Subnautica 2. Takes place on a whole different planet from 4546b. I’m super hyped.
