any chance we can revert to the old spellbook? not a fan of it taking up my whole screen

There’s a minimize button in the top right corner that cuts the width in half.
On my screen, the whole thing is massive and covers the entire play area. I think that’s a bug or settings problem.
Moveany will let you scale and move it too.
i get i can use an addon to move it, but why? why cant i move the spell book or not have it in the way of my stock action bars. seems like they missed the bar on this one

Its an improvement overall but yeah it taking up the middle of our screens is a silly choice
Because Blizzard has long outsourced their UI design. You get basic functionality out of the box, but if you want fancy, you have to use an addon.

No, it is like that in Beta. I have reported it because not being able to drag the spell to an action bar because it is covered by the stupidly long spell book is beyond annoying.
There are a lot of bugs in Beta. The action bar thing for example is still an ongoing issue.
If anyone should be faulted it is management for not resourcing development properly or giving arbitrary release dates that are unrealistic and choosing to release and fix later.
They are banking on WoW addiction, is my guess.
