Blizz has more utility/support specs to create. It’s a need now more than a want. I’d like to treat this thread as a workshop to make a Night Warrior themed spec for Priest that I really would love to see in the game. Priest needs another non-healer option for when they re-work shadow every .5 patch so it’s a logical addition to me.
So let me know your thoughts, ideas, twists. Where there might be holes. I’m focused 100% on theme and functionality, the balancing can be done by the Devs if by some divine miracle this spec would make it anywhere. If not, I enjoy this stuff. If this is successful in any way I’ll likely repeat for more specs.
I’ll gladly make updates as folks add their own perspective.

Mastery: Elune’s Wrath (Appearance Changes) : Phase between the different stages of Elune’s Wrath every 30 seconds:
- Full Moon: Your damaging spells and abilities grant Elune’s Wrath to 1 ally, preferring damage dealers, increasing spell and ability cooldown rate by (X%) for Y seconds.
- Half Moon: Your damaging spells and abilities grant Elune’s Wrath to 1 ally, preferring damage dealers, increasing spell and ability cooldown rate by (X%*1.5) for Y seconds.
- New Moon: Your damaging spells and abilities grant Elune’s Wrath to 1 ally, preferring damage dealers, increasing spell and ability cooldown rate by (X%*2) for Y seconds.
- Would require a stacking effect limit.
Passive Spell Ideas:

Black Moon Soldier: Gain X% of Intellect as armor and your melee attacks now deal Lunar damage instead of physical damage. (Body markings and forehead Crescent appear)

Priest of Elune: Power Infusion is baseline and adds an additional charge when talented. Power Infusion now grants X or X% of primary stat for 20 seconds instead of Haste. (Note: This is so it’s not just haste specs that benefit from this, and it seems Primary Stat can be accounted for in logs where Haste can’t.)
Talent/Spell Ideas:
Crescent Strike: Slice your target twice for X damage. Generates 20 of Elune’s Strength.

Avatar of Elune: Become empowered by Elune and become a Night Warrior and entering New Moon for 30 seconds. Your spells and abilities cause an explosion for X amount of damage to all nearby enemies damage split between all nearby enemies. Damage is increased for each enemy struck, up to 5 enemies. 2 min CD (Yes I’m giving it Beacon, sort of)

Army of the Black Moon: Up to 4 nearby allies are empowered by your presence and are granted X% increased critical strike rating for 30 seconds. 2 min CD

- Strength in Numbers: Army of the Moon also increases the affected players primary stat by X% for it’s duration.
- One Soldier Army: Amy of the Moon increases the caster’s primary stat by (X%*3) for it’s duration.

- Ritual of the New Moon: Turn into an Astral Wolf, teleporting 15 yds forward and increasing your movement speed by 50%. You may reactivate Ritual of the New Moon every few sec to teleport again. Lasts 12 sec, or indefinitely while in a rest area. 45 sec CD (Yes, it’s Soulshape)
b. Astral Grace: - Elune’s Wrath: Unleash an explosion of Lunar damage at the destination, dealing X amount of damage. Enemies hit by Elune’s Wrath take X% increased damage for 10 seconds and have an X% chance to be knocked down. Instant Cast. 30 sec CD

Reverse Gravity: Remove the mass the target, causing them to lift in the air and become stunned for 3 seconds. Instant Cast. 45 sec CD

Moon Guard: Elune shields the target, granting immunity to all damage, harmful effects, knockbacks and forced movement effects for 5 seconds. 2 min CD

Dark Comet: Charge up and leap through the air at a target location dealing X damage to all enemies within 10 yards, stunning them for 2 seconds, and increasing damage taken by 5% for 30 seconds. 1 second cast. 30 second CD, 10 yard range. (Meant to be a debuff to increase group dps with the added utility of a stun, not a heroic leap carbon copy)

- Dark side of the Moon: Silences cooldown is reduced by 30 seconds.
- Pillar of Moonlight: The Lunar version of Solar Beam. Summons a beam of lunar light over an enemy target’s location, interrupting the target and silencing all enemies within the beam. Lasts 8 sec.

The Black Moon Priest glows at various degrees based on their Moon Stages. (Think 10.1.5 shadow glyph for Full Moon, pre-10.1.5 Shadowform glyph for Half Moon, and Shadowform for New Moon as far as intensities.)
