Good story. Good character development. Good plot advancement to tie the Nightborne in with the greater Horde collective.
All I could think about during the Kael’thas mention was,
[MEANWHILE, IN REVENDRETH] whipcrack

All I could think about were all the red flags.
Are you sincerely touting Genn “Crashed a fleet to fall at Sylvanas’s feet” Greymane as a strategical mastermind?
He stopped what Sylvanas was planning. Regardless we have both Lother’mar and Nathanos stating their forces were depleted and now Lother’mar has said the Horde bankrupt. Hard to defend yourself when you dont have resources to arm or even train new troops.
Try to be honest with yourself at least once.
I just gave you a canon source where you can cleary see that the Alliance is able to consider a new invasion in Zandalar.
They have the troops, the ships and the money.
Meanwhile the horde doesnt have troops, their treasure is empty and are not able to face another blow.
You gave me a canon source wherein Genn is willing to toss away the Alliance’s forces to try to kill Sylvanas.
This is canonically not the first time he’s tried this.
Poor, poor Liadrin. It seems even Lor’themar recognised her fall into crazy.
But was she expecting this betrayal from Thalyssra? Serves her right for being a dirty liar.
You posted this in a thread titled “Hot Steamy Elf Sex”.
I just want you to consider that.
I really like this! More stories are always fun, but as someone who especially likes blood elf lore and Lor’themar, this story was an unexpected treat. I really like the insight into Lor’themar’s inner monologue, especially in regards to Kael’thas (I really hope we get some sort of blood elf closure with him in Shadowlands). Bonus points for Rommath being wonderfully sassy as always, and for Thalyssra being so insightful.
Ghost Kael’thas! Trying to ****block everyone!
To be fair, most of those of us that make that argument are usually referring to the state of things at the end of the 4th War.
There’s been an entire additional Old God war since then, so the status quo could very easily have changed.
And since the story doesn’t express the current status of the Alliance, there’s no real evidence that they’re any better off.
See above.
Ended the 4th War better off? Yes. Ended the N’Zoth war better off? Probably not.
Barely legal!
An entire short story dedicated to Elven face munching and you guys are still debating the logistics of war.
Yeah, but it’s the gross, evil kinds of Elves. So logistics is about a good a thing as anything else to talk about, until someone drops some Night/High/Void Elf action.
Omg you better stop! The sauce. I cant xD
yeah meanwhile at the same time in the loyalist quest nathanos says that everything else broken and they only got civilians
This story and pairing was specifically crafted as a way to say “Look guys, we totally don’t just do human man and elf lady pairings!”
I think it’s pretty funny, and a bit adorable.
In fairness the Sin’dorei on Nightborne chapbook is garbage.
in the voice of Edith from Bob’s Burgers FILTH!!!
I liked it. Nice character progression. It’s nice to see the elves getting along. I felt bad for the little servant that got yelled at though lol.
The silken white plumes of her eyelashes dipped, and then she glanced up at him and her gaze met his, and Lor’themar wondered how he had so long denied himself this chance.
Wait…isn’t she taller than he is by at least a foot?
How wonderful😊
Just imagine the the team Varian and Night Warrior Tyrande would have been in this war?
Honestly, it seems Elves are not that far genetically, taking back to real life, I take more the difference between someone from England and someone from Korea, same species.
I really like Lor’themar and decently like Thalyssra but I can’t bring myself to read this, I just find that I don’t care enough about the story anymore. This sucks man.
Once again, Nathanos said to the Sylvanas loyalist that the Horde’s army was depleted, and Lor’themar has now confirmed it.
Please don’t kink shame me.
