Will there be a new server release if anyone wants to start fresh, again?

Its funny… you will see a TON of people say no way… and yet the same thing was discussed on the TLP servers in Everquest… and the same people screamed NO WAY…
Meanwhile in the real world they have every kind of conceivable TLP server… think they are on 8 or 9 and counting…
Maybe once naxx is out, but it’s way too early for phresh servers.

Why, just roll a new toon…not like the content gets stale, it’s still there.

They should release a new pvp server with BWL for all those who started late,want a reroll etc or who want to experience lvling with honor system active etc
Come on… we haven’t even opened AQ gates and already asking for new servers?

should probably note that the last 2-3 barely lasted 2 month before going ghost-town mode.
altho in a game with such a small population it doesn’t take much to go ghosttown.
I think some time after Naxx is released, they should roll out a fresh server every year. A single server, all content unlocked, no layering. Let people go wild.

with paid character transfers blizzard basically just shut the door on fresh servers

I would roll a new server for prolonged phase 2 for sure. I would roll a wpvp ranking only server stuck with no bgs in phase 2 for that matter. Eternal wpvp rank. Classic phase 2 was one of the best times I have ever had in WoW. Glad I didn’t miss it.
I mean think about it, Grand marshal’s That didn’t AV exploit means you actually pvp’d to get that title. People had to go to the the spirit healer and you had to be there, to achieve it.
I love season/ladder resets.

New servers won’t work since anyone with a brain would transfer there to gather all the black lotus and uncontested resources. Server transfers ruined new servers.
p servers did that a lot. i dont think blizz will or should. i understand ppl being ahead of others and that noise so others can be on an equal playing field with a fresh but i just dont see the need for a new fresh. so many ppl would flock to it too so it would have the potential to be severely over populated
If anything they are going to need to combine some soon.
Classic is still in its infancy stage. If it’s anything like other TLP servers from other games people will be playing and making new characters for years. P99 is an EQ server thats been in the classic era for 10 years and is more popular than ever.
6 months after naxx release, and it could be longer than that if it lines up with other wow releases, or blizzard games in general. wouldn’t get your hopes up for fresh servers any time soon after naxx is released. but they will happen. 1 of each type, and no more than that.
I could see them opening a couple hours f fresh servers once they release TBC
For the most part yeah, although if the new server would have the old server pop cap and no layers, that would be reason to start a new one, but I’d wait till at least after BWL is out.
