New Server Hardware?

Dearest Blizzard,

Let me begin by saying that I love you, and your games have brought me many, many hours of enjoyment and even happiness over the last few decades.

However- WoW is currently suffering with performance issues on your end every single week on reset day, and that seems very unlike you. You’ve had some sloppy expansion releases, but normally you clean things up pretty quick (within 2-3 weeks tops) and the game returns to being one of the best performing MMOs around.

That’s not the case this time.

Are the current lag issues EVERYONE is experiencing every reset day caused by poor coding or server hardware that is unable to sustain the PAYING client base you have?

-If it’s a coding issue, could you ask daddy EA to increase your allowance to allow you to hire more people to QA/QC updates before you unleash them on us?

-If it’s an obsolete server hardware issue, could you ask daddy EA to increase your allowance to allow you to update your hardware in order to support your base of customers who are paying in order to (attempt to) enjoy your game?

Or is it some other issue?
I just want to understand.
I’ve played Blizzard games since the 90s, and I’ve never seen technical issues like this with one of your games go untreated for so long, and it makes me sad.

I still find it unimaginable that we had to endure Epic Battleground 40v40 server lag at the Hangar, the Sunken Ring, and the main path in Ashran for nearly the entirety of Battle for Azeroth. It has seemingly been alleviated somewhat in Shadowlands, but I’m not sure it’s completely resolved.

This lag also persists when a World Boss is up in a particular zone, so once the world boss begins to be attacked, the entire zone endures insane lag. Stuff like this should have been resolved back during the Nazjatar patch.

I was just about to post something containing such a statement, I am very annoyed that I pay for this game and receive serious issues coming from their end.
Its all new too, game never used to mess up like this.

Also, the balance right now is horrid aswell, across all types of content. That is usually better too.
Something must be new I guess?
