New rogue training

Good rogue weapons? Can they have pets? How does the lockpick work?

Outlaw → swords, maces, possibly dagger in off-hand. The other specs use daggers. There’s no worries for you about best weapons yet, anything that’s a higher ilvl works.

Rogues can’t have pets, only hunters can. You can have battlepets, which is fun if you enjoy pokemon combat games.

Lockpicking is done by using the spell and then press a locked lockbox in your inventory.

Wow. It’s been a while since we had one this fresh.

Welcome to the shadows.

and warlocks, and shamans with a totem, and frost mages if they choose water elemental

Those aren’t real pets.

Lol maybe not the shaman one but the other 2 are definitely pets. Dont lead new players astray.

You can only stable the hunter pets

The main two pet class would be warlock and hunter. Not including a plethora of other forms of pets across specs etc.

I too think it’s disingenuous to act as if only hunter is (and can be) pet based.

Mages used to have elementals. Is that still a thing?

I believe it’s still a talent option it’s just not very good

Frost still can choose to keep their water elemental but its not worth it
