They don’t even need to buff the effects . All they need to do is allow the ring to have secondary stats like any other ring .
Currently, with the secondary stat dump, you’re losing about 5.5-6K secondaries . And then you got a gem that gives you 2.2k of your “best stat”

When maxed, it’s supposed to be as good or better than Heroic Raid of next tier, so for most players it will stick around for 2 tiers.
You probably should do your research before posting stuff like this OP, the ring was giga buffed just before release. Assuming BIS gems, the ring is bis for everyone at max ilvl and likely any ilvl higher than a normal ring barring maybe the Ansurek ring. Your bis likely isn’t available yet nor are sims likely up to date.
Honestly I’m relieved. I don’t want to have to grind for another BiS when the next major patch is just around the corner. Enjoy it for the RP flavor.

Not only do I not use sims at all, ever…I don’t care what they say.
Road map showed late-winter, January is just the beginning.
We are only 3 months into the season so I can’t see them dropping Season 2 in January after 4 months. Realistically, we are probably looking at Mid/late February or early March.
