Well at least there’s an alt skip but still really annoying. There is nothing satisfying about doing these sandbox mindless zones. In fact, it gives me anxiety because I feel forced to do it and get it over with so I can get back to the things I actually do enjoy.

They said they wanted the ring to be BiS from day 1 but the problem is with the gems they gave us that is not possible.

That island feels more like a beta test for a new game than a zone in the Warcraft universe. I had to get out of there due to becoming physically uncomfortable running around there for next to nothing rewards. To be honest this whole expansion does not feel like Warcraft… its just a woke cartoon world at this point.

Nobody is forcing you to use the ring lmao these threads are just rage bait. If it sims lower don’t use it.

That’s like going into a normal dungeon for your BiS trinket, then complaining when it is outperformed by a M+ trinket that is considered F tier.
Pretty bad reward then if using it is worse than using a 619 ring.
Its almost as if they tried this exact thing before, only for it to have similar issues.

Well there wasn’t patches dedicated to that trinket like this patch is for the ring.

What are you talking about? The Forbidden Reach Ring was so powerful they had to nerf it because people were using it over mythic raid rings from the next season.
Yes, there were complaints it was too weak like now, but just like now, that’s because people think the ring is meant to be OP from the start, before upgrades/gems.
The point is to upgrade the ring over time. It will be better. It took 5 minutes to get it, everyone is just crying because they didn’t get a BiS item right away for doing a couple quests.
Funny because that ring was absolute garbage for ret, and i literally never used it.
At its best it was still a downgrade.

Nah. It is a brain numbingly mindless zone = not fun. For those of us with families, kids, jobs, and limited play time, it sucks to spend any amount of time doing these lame hoop jumping activities when all we want to do is the content we sub for. This ain’t it. I really don’t understand how there’s always that one guy who defends Blizzard like we just insulted their mother.

Yeah this guy is just trolling. His comprehension is terrible.
For healers and outlaw rogues and some hunters, for caster dps and most melee with good stat scaling though it was complete garbage.
They missed the mark ridiculously badly on the annulet.

Yea, after the nerfs in patch 10.1.5.
The annulet page for ret that exists today even tells you it became useless in that patch.
Upgrade gear over time. The entire point of an RPG.
