New rated pvp mounts and levels

Since a lot of people are over 500 honor level, would it be possible to get new rewards for 600+ honor levels? Maybe titles, mounts etc. Just a thought.

Yeah, Honor 500+ rewards would be cool.

Nerf the 5,000 PvP pet battle achievement, too.

What’s a lot of people?

I brought this topic before but from other perspective…since the scaling between rewards is really huge and the lack of updates for the prestige system since BFA pre patch.

Honor Level Achievement Reward
Honor Level 5 Dutiful Squire/ Dutiful Gruntling
Honor Level 10 Honorable Pennant, First PvP Artifact Apperance
Honor Level 15 Prestigious Bronze Courser
Honor Level 20 Alliance Enthusiast/ Horde Fanatic
Honor Level 25 The Honorable %s
Honor Level 30 Prestigious Pennant, Second PvP Artifact Apperance
Honor Level 40 Prestigious Ivory Courser
Honor Level 50 The Prestigious %s, Third PvP Artifact Apperance
Honor Level 60 Elite Pennant
Honor Level 70 Prestigious Azure Courser
Honor Level 80 The Unrelenting %s, Fourth PvP Artifact Apperance
Honor Level 90 Esteemed Pennant
Honor Level 100 %s the Unstoppable Force
Honor Level 125 Prestigious Forest Courser
Honor Level 150 Prestigious Royal Courser
Honor Level 175 Glorious Pennant
Honor Level 200 %s, Bound by Honor
Honor Level 250 Prestigious Midnight Courser
Honor Level 300 %s the Tactician
Honor Level 400 Sir Snips/Bucketshell
Honor Level 500 Prestigious Bloodforged Courser

There’s a point on which you need 100 level per reward, that doesn’t provide a good incentive for players, besides that Honor being a currency for upgrades and a way to progress this system cause a conflict for Devs, because they don’t provide big chunks of honor via WQs and other activities.

Comming back to your point, Using DataForAzeroth:

Honor Level 150 Mount: Owned by 5.13%
Honor Level 250 Mount: Owned by 2.41%
Honor Level 500 Mount: Owned by 0.45%

We’ll have to consider that those % are against the whole playerbase and not only the active pvp playerbase but it’s not a lot of players. This is a casual system that needs more rewards between previous levels and then add new ones, besides that new ways to acquired honor, I know that some of the players with 500+ honor levels used a bug to reach that amount of honor during Legion/BFA with a WQ.

More people used to have the honor 500 mount. During BfA it was 1.7%. Since then it has declined, apparently dramatically.

What does this mean? Overwhelmingly the casual PvPers who the achievement was designed for have stopped playing altogether. Honor is harder to come by for serious PvPers, as they don’t do nearly as many games as casual PvPers who used to only queue for PvP.

Me? I got halfway to the achievement in Legion, and completed it mid-BfA by spamming bgs in an Alliance 110 PvP community. My honor level is now 576.

I think Blizzard’s devious plan to increase the rated participation % among PvPers has succeeded by removing the incentive for casuals to do PvP. I’m talking about BfA PvP, where the team with the best PvE gear was guaranteed a win, and Shadowlands, where rated players were incentivized to massively farm graveyards in order to upgrade their gear even more and make it even easier to one shot casuals. I would even propose that wod PvP was better for casuals than Legion templates. As a casual PvPer I spent all my wod time in Ashran.

Those players are gone, and they’re not coming back. That’s the reality of what happens when development centers around the favored top player demographic at the expense of other demographics, who in this case were not just ignored, but became the victims of a currency farm to benefit top players.

I dont get to play a lot and am over 500. I juat thought it would be nice to have something else to work for. Maybe make the next one at 750 and then 1k.
