I really believe that adding more races into classic would only be positive, especially if the races that were added into classic were cosmetic only with already existing faction based racials. it could be a great way to keep the game fresh w no impact

Thats like saying them adding oceanic servers and colorblind mode makes it not classic.
0/10 low effort bait. We’re getting Classic, not TBC.
I -would- like to see some of the race/combos added, like dwarf mage/lock, etc. But adding new races would definitely:
A) change the feel of vanilla
B) be awkward with the lore of vanilla’s time period
C) ruin the horde all over again with barbie dolls
New races means new racial abilities, which have to be balanced around
Comparing that to Oceanic servers is ridiculous.

You’re the one comparing new races to colorblind mode. I never said colorblind mode shouldn’t be in Classic.
You do release that before tbc, they were going to add blood elves Right?
They were also going to add Hyjal, Karazhan and a whole lot of other things. That’s content, nothing to do with accessibility features or Oceanic servers.
Blood elves weren’t in Vanilla so they have no reason to be in Classic. End of the story.

This may or may not be true but it drastically changes the feel of classic if we start adding post classic stuff in an effort to “improve” The game
