New race+class combos since ED and blizzcon

I am a bit concerned that Emerald Dream was a major patch and we didn’t get any new race and class combos. It seems the perfect time for druid everythings, and yes I know they take a lot more time than others (we are down to the classes that do require the most work on blizzards end- druid, pally, shammy, dh) but if not this patch then I would have expected to hear something from blizzcon but nothing was mentioned (unless I missed it?). Instead it seems the team is busy with the new allied race instead :frowning:

I really hope this idea hasn’t been put on the back shelf, and I especially hope we see more race and class combos before the end of the xpack. Although based on the radio silence from blizz I am thinking this is very unlikely.

Anyone else have any other thoughts or predictions on this?

I doubt. If they havent announce anything in this regard yet, we wont see it this xpac…
I agree it would have made a lot of sense though story wise

This is what I thought too, although I am not 100% with lore like some people are( so someone can correct me if I am wrong) but outside of the ED it seems like writing in druid everythings would be a lot harder or just flat out not make sense. It feels like knowing the next 3 xpacks kind of guarentees there will be no vaible opportunitys for druids?

Shammies quite possibly, at the most VE DHs with midnight, but no other races and classes that I can see :frowning:

Which race would you have hoped to play the most as druid?
I could say mechagnome, but in the end id still main NE, unless they change shadowmeld

ok so I know this is the ‘boring’ answer (hehe xD) but I really want BE and VE druids, I love BEs, they are my most fav race. Druid is my longest played class (it’s the class I played when I first took up WoW) so being able to join the two would have been great :3

I think paladins will be the next class for all. Unfortunately it will probably be the generic Tyr’s Guard paladins for all, rather than each race having their own identity.

I’d be ok with pallies coming next as well, but I am guessing that it would be sometime after The War Within releases which is just too far away :frowning:

This patch should have given us Druids. We all know they’re coming, now would have been perfect.

I’m thinking a different instance of that Emerald Dream zone will be used to train future Druids, like how the top of Icecrown Citadel raid was re-used when we got Death Knight allied races in Shadowlands.

Could be next expansion or something.

Or, actually, The Final Titan, because aren’t the titans themselves coming back?

Eonar? Seems like a good time to give all races Druids, maybe even all races all classes, and have the Titans be the reasoning behind that.

I’m hoping for druids in 10.2.5 or .7, but I don’t think it’s gonna be that soon, since we haven’t heard anything.

Mechagnomes, Undead, and Velves will probably have some pretty cool druid forms I think. Lightforged might too. Probably wouldn’t actually play them because I don’t like those races (or druids to be fair) but those are the ones I’m most excited for
