New Race/Class Combo Suggestions!

Exactly! A true “Night Warrior”, or a “Warrior of Elune”, would be in fact, a Night Elf Paladin. If Class Skins were a thing, based on Race, then I could see Night Elf Priests and Paladins getting silvery glows to their spell effects, rather than the Holy Light-themed effects.

Night Elf Paladin - There were two Night Elf paladins (or something very much like paladins) in the Paladin Order Hall in Legion. Just saying.

Worgen Monk - There is absolutely no good reason that Worgen can’t be Monks. Nearly every other race in the game can be monks, even freakin’ zombies, but for some reason Worgen can’t learn it? Dumb.

Worgen Paladin - I mean, Worgen used to be humans. Perhaps some even used to be Paladins. Plus it would just be really cool. Holy Hounds of God and all that.

Undead Paladin - There is now lore about Lightbound Undead or whatever they’re called. So there’s some lore supporting undead finding a way to use the Light in the canon. And anyway, undead paladins would just be cool as hell. I’m pretty sure some NPC ones already exist in the game, IIRC.

Goblin Monk - As with the Worgen, there’s simply no good reason whatsoever that Goblins can’t be monks when pretty much everyone else can learn to do it.

Lightforged Draenei Monk - The fact that Lightforged were denied the Monk class is idiotic. They have a history of martial arts (see: the Jed-hin quests in MacAree), they are serene and spiritual, regular Draenei can do it, and they need a class that can wear leather armor.

Let any race be any class they want. Will its break some lore? Yes, yes it will. Blizzard can always just make up some lore on the spot.

I would REALLY love to be able to play an elf as a druid on Horde-side.

I would main a druid in a heartbeat but currently my internal triage is race > spec.

1 - Blood elf, Nightborne and Void elfs druids … Since the Arcan’dor it is completely possible.

2 - Pandaren druid, since the end of MoP the 4 celestials could be re-attaching with the emerald dream.

3 - Every race that have priests must be able to have paladins. Why not?
4 - Since every allied race can be monk, why cata races can’t?!

5 - This is just a personal wish. All races can be all classes. After all those years working together it is not possible a night elf didn’t teach a human druidism. Ok, that human must be a exception, but why the exception can’t be a player?!

Darkspear druidism is from gonk a loa. He just told them to expand it by talking with the Cenarion Circle. So the Darkspear are a sorta mixed bit.

It’s really most of the new druids being weird. The original Tauren and Night Elf druidism was Emerald Dream establishing ethos. But now all the new races with the druid class have added these completely different avenues of druidism. Hence my argument for blood elves to become druids. But I’d say many other races among the alliance would also be able to as well, definitely humans.

I think they should have a legacy program: one Character per account: any race, any class, any faction. You get ONE. No boosts. And It would be difficult to unlock. Want another? You have to delete your first.

That way lore breaking wouldnt be quite so terrible.

Star wars galaxies had something similar for Jedi when it first launched.

Because the any race class combo once per server would be interesting as long as you could still make characters of their initial class combos.

You would have normal characters too. It’s just that you would only be allowed this one “any race class faction” per account. So one server.

That’s what I wanted clarified. SWG was one character and that’s it unless you unlocked jedi. So I just wanted clarification as to what you meant precisely. Yeah, I’d totally be down for a 1 race any class one per server.
