Edit Title change. Apparently nobody read the post, and assumed it was about tank shortages or some nonsense. This is entirely about the idea of using the new race as a Black Dragon aspect tank spec. Nothing more or less.
You are using time and nature to heal, fire and arcane to damage…so why not use the Black Dragon Flight to tank?

Black Dragon Tank Specialization features:

Passive feature: You assume the form of the Aspect of the Earthwarden, gaining 220% Armor and Stamina by 45% (same as Druid Bear Form). You gain 5% resistance to Fire and Nature damage?

Your skills and abilities now deal Fire and Earth (Nature) damage.

Heart of Flame (passive): Enemies who attack you, take 50? damage per second, stacking three times. This can help the Earthwarden keep threat and do damage, allowing them to focus on mitigation. This damage is always a critical strike. Ignores fire resistance on NPC’s ONLY.

Skill ideas:
- Presence of Neltharion: 2.5 MINUTE COOLDOWN. Inhale deeply! Exhale molten rock in an area around you, dealing fire damage. Heart of Flame now buffets enemies with waves of flame, stacking the Heart of Flame DoT to max instantly, and dealing maximum damage every one(1) second, for three(3) seconds. (Think Earthquake, with a fiery Arcane Blast)
- Ground effect: Presence of Neltharion creates a circular field of molten rock that damages enemies for six(6) seconds after the initial cast, dealing a set amount of damage.

- Wrath of Therazane: 35 SECOND COOLDOWN.
- In a wide cone in front of you (think Breath of Sindragosa), breathe the essence of The Earthmother. You are rendered immobile for the duration, though you may rotate the cone. Enemies inside the cone, are hit every 0.5 seconds, for three(3) seconds, with crystalline spires from below. Enemies are hit a maximum of 6 times. Enemies hit all six times, are knocked into the air for 1.5 seconds. Interrupts spell-casting that can normally be interrupted, even boss spells. Heavy enemies/bosses are not lifted, and are instead “sapped”, walking in a circle (think as if the crystal spires stabbed them in the foot. It is silly, but works) for 1.5 seconds [where appropriate])
- Gift of Ysera: 3.5 MINUTE COOLDOWN.
- Go into a deep slumber for six seconds , reducing all damage taken by 50%?. Store the mitigated damage as healing. Heal yourself and 4 nearby targets for X% of mitigated damage, prioritizing lowest health. You may cast other protective abilities, but are unable to use any damaging abilities for the duration.
- Adamantine Madness: THREE(3) CHARGES, 20 SECOND COOLDOWN…
- Take on the burden of Insanity for 6 seconds. Your skin cracks open with molten metal, forming protective plates on your skin, blocking all melee attacks (based on normal blocking values, as well as critical blocks…so yes, essentially Shield Block) and giving you 15%? Magic Damage reduction.
- Blessing of Life: COSTS RESOURCE WITH 1 OR 3 SECOND COOLDOWN.
- She Who Is Life, has granted you her boon. Heal for 55%? the damage you take, up to a set maximum, over time (think Monk’s Stagger passive, but instead of taking the damage over time, you take the full damage, but start healing for half of it over time).
