Mages don’t need to be completely rebuilt from the ground up, just let the hold to charge playstyle stick on evoker.

Have you never played fire?
Fires damage comes from combust windows and using as many instant casts as possible inside combustion.
Your idea is counters the entire design of the spec.

Nothing at all, which is why we have evokers. It doesn’t make sense to take niche gameplay and just dump it on every spec.
I don’t understand why you’re getting an attitude. You posted an idea that literally goes against the specs design and damage profile and then get upset when people tell you it’s not a good idea.
