New PvP reward ideas

The PvP reward system is rather repetitive and I think adding some new rewards would help incentivize people to play a little more. It would also give Blizzard the opportunity to play with new designs and stuff. I won’t say I dislike the current rewards, not at all. I just think a few new ones would be a good addition to what we have

I had a couple ideas

  1. Race specific Pennants
    I know pvp is horde vs alliance but the current pennants just look like orc flags and human flags. It’d be nice to get race specific ones. Imagine being able to wear your racial heritage armor and a race specific pennant to match. That would be cool imo, and open up a lot of new looks

  2. Seasonal Hearthstones
    I’m probably a little bias with this one because I collect hearthstones but I think adding special seasonal hearthstones to each season would be a cool reward. Idk where in the reward ladder you would put them, they could honestly go anywhere, but a cosmetic hearthstone would be a great reward to toss into the mix.

  3. A PvP vendor mount
    This one might be a little out there, but it could be something like the transmog yak, or the repair mammoth (or a PvP themed Brutosaur but I was trying to keep it similar to what’s currently available). Anyway this mount could be something like 50 saddles (or whatever amount is fitting). But have it decked out in pvp armor or decorated with armor of the enemy factions you’ve defeated. Think like the vicious war wolf/steed that has the enemy faction races heads on it. There’s lots of room to design it. It could also be an entirely unique model. Doesn’t have to be limited to the yak or mammoth models.

Anyway those are just some ideas to help freshen up PvP rewards and give people something else to go for

Cool and unique

Feel that there’s a lot of untouched cosmetics

3D cloaks like the SL ones
Wrist mogs like the trader post watch

Cosmetic glyphs (monk lightning color)

Lotta things they could do if they cared at all

Ooh that’s a good idea too. They could do a lot with those.

Like have a bundle of enemy races heads, or a cluster of spears with skulls on them, or even silly ones like a field medic back pack or something.

Cosmetic glyphs would be dope

Given the low effort nature of these rewards they could probably have variation in color, the pennants at least.

Also this game needs more glyphs in general. It used to have more that were pretty unique.

…Though frankly after a certain point I believe just making class skins could fill in all the glyph ideas I could come up with.

Ya, I was suggesting something btwn duelist and glad for a seasonal cloak that matches the tabard.

This would go SO hard.
