Seems legit… to me anyway. Could always shorten the cast time on Wailing Arrow as well, I wouldn’t complain.
If you read the thread, you will see that I play all of the classes including hunter. Furthermore, this is the BG forum. I’ve already said that hunter has issues in arena but having more damage is not the solution, it is just going to make a further mess of random BGs without addressing hunter issues in arena.

In my eyes even though survivability or kiting buffs would have been better, this at least makes all of the melee cleave nerds in solo shuffle have to use defensives when I attack them. This is basically you agreeing with me other than the part where you think having more damage is going to help. You do realize that when a ranged class is a bigger threat it becomes a bigger focus target, right?
If ignoring the MM hunter is a sure way to lose, then guess what… you will get focused even more. In order for a class to not get focused it needs to be better at not getting pinned down, trained and shut down. It doesn’t need more damage.
They needed it. MM is one of the worst specs right now.
Just went 1-5 in a solo shuffle. We 100% need the damage. If they aren’t getting us survivability we need to be glass cannons. I just lost to spriest and warlock in solo shuffle. Every caster in the game is superior to MM hunters right now.
The warlock has 802k health before sniper shot, if you add up all the instances of damage on the SCT, it is 789k damage, the other hunter did not contribute meaningful damage. Also the zerker buff wears off before the 179k kill shot. Zerker buff is an incredibly common buff in battlegrounds, rated or random, and this is a post in the battlegrounds sub forum, so it’s still very relevant to measure damage with. I like Marksman hunter. I like all the utility it has access to. I don’t like it being a meme one shot cannon with near zero counterplay for most specs. I’d much prefer it have more active and meaningful defensives and be less burst focused while needing to make use of it’s extensive kit to really push the skill ceiling. But that isn’t the case right now, and pushing damage numbers even higher helps none of that.
You do have a grudge against MM because you spend all day complaining about it on the forums. This isn’t the first time I’ve seen you here.
I did not read the rest of your life story because I’m not interested. I’ve seen plenty of so-called Hunter mains on the Hunter forums calling for nerfs to their own class. Usually because they’re melee Survival tourists.
The Warlock was distracted and fighting someone else. If they were actually fighting the MM Hunter recording there’s plenty of counter play that could have been done. If there weren’t, MM Hunters would be dominant in rated PvP. Instead they are among the least-played specs. To be fair, so is Affliction (the spec of the Warlock in the video), but even they have more representation in rated PvP than MM.
I’m not interested in hearing the breakdown of how someone with a +30% BG buff is doing too much damage so I didn’t read the rest of your post. Next you’ll be telling me that MM is overpowered because you got one shot in Ashran by an MM Hunter holding the +200% damage buff from Ancient Artifact.
MM definitely did not need a physical damage buff, because their damage is excellent into cloth and leather. If they needed damage buffs at all, it should be to their magic damage and bleeds, because those bypass armor.
Additionally, The reason MM is far more powerful in BGs is because virtually every objective lacks LOS.
You cannot escort a SSM cart or run a flag over midfield and Pillar at the same time. So you have to facetank MM damage more frequently while they out range everyone else.
In Arenas, people can frequently line MM when they are in danger.
Additionally, Arena constrains MM’s ability to maximize their range and run and reset from fights.
I see Hunters gaslighting people is the groove now. Can’t wait for these buffs to go through and the same hunters asking for more damage still get trounced in arena because of said damage making them a high priority target (while still having to kite for 90% of the game, completely for naught, thanks mobility creep).

i LOVE all of these braindead classes crying about hunters while their class sits at the top of the ladder. I love your tears they are tasty. Sorry that you’re not longer able to just tank hunter damage while destroying them in every form of rated content.

PVP forums in a nutshell, hunters are OP, but suck at 3v3 so they’re useless. Its Schrodinger’s spec. MM is both mega OP and useless at the same time.

Same applies for rogues, except in reverse. In 3v3, Blizzard thinks Subtlety’s gimmicky burst is too strong. So, it gets nerfed. Now it’s going to suck even worse in other PvP content.
It’s like quantum physics where you don’t know the state of the electron until you observe it. Blizzards observes that one view and balances the world around it.
