I love PvP and want it to be interesting, i.e. to minimize moments when 1 class simply annihilates another, it is not interesting from either side (excluding weak players for whom the op class is the only opportunity to defeat at least someone in PvP, yes, yes, these shamans above I am talking about you)
The problem would be solved by specific changes to individual classes, not general ones like pvp aura. That is, now we have top specs and the REST, it’s sad. There is practically nothing like this in pve (except for BM and Enhanced Hunters)
I could write a separate post on the changes for each class from my perspective, but who cares/needs that?
honestly i dont trust alot of the under the hood changes that people suggest for those classes as they would make them incredibly annoying to play and inhibit emergent gameplay styles that are fun.
it would take a scalpel and not a sledgehammer and i dont know that i trust people to do that and not absolutely crap on those classes.

I always thought that setting up classes for PvP is a very complicated thing, that you need a cool team of specialists and a department for collecting information. In fact, you just need to play your game a lot. I don’t think that the developers play PvP, maybe only sometimes, when they run to Naxx and they have no choice. That’s why we have what we have.

They still don’t understand that I’m trying to judge from the point of view of 1v1 duels. The cancellation of bonus hp for BG is a plus for the tournament, but I wanted to hold the next one without ability bans. Now I’m not sure that anyone will have a chance against a good player on shaman. It just won’t be interesting to watch for the viewer, I think.

What you are explaining is a bad shaman. Shamans are actually good at fighting casters when the shaman understands the game. What I Do and keep in mind this depends on what caster I’m fighting but generally the key is always running and keeping flam shock on the caster. You have grounding totem for any big cast. If you think riptide isn’t doing much your obviously undergeared. Running,los, dropping grounding totems, i can go on for days but stop playing like a bot and i promise you you’ll do better vs casters.
Another tip since you don’t seem to be good at shaman is when your fighting casters in open world try and pull a melee npc as you run or if they a warlock with felguard it’s free mana.
exactly this. Ziqo yesterday was stomping on all casters he met in BG, even with Woe. There is no point trying to convince lesser skilled players. give it up

I play shaman myself, but I like 2h Enha since Vanilla. It’s a shame they are in such a bad position in pvp and pve as they are now. I can handle casters (except tank warlock), but everyone else has an advantage. Any warrior, paladin, rogue, feral - will destroy you.
I understand that I can play tank ele, but for me personally it is not interesting.
God this annoys me… with your logic I guess paladins should never use secred shielld since it only absorb like 400? If I need to explain why stuff like riptide or secred shield good than I’m just wasting my time with you.
i mean you may have a point as taking less damage means less to heal and thus being more % but really sometimes it is almost a waste of a button to press cause the very next source of damage will do about 3 x the amount healed on most specs.
