That’s…fine? At least as long as I don’t have to redo it for each alt.

“No player power in Zerith Mortis” - nice joke.

They just don’t understand the player base at all. Gotta love that grind huh?

No its not. They SAID and PROMISED “no player power will be tied to the reputation” and here we are. They do nothing but lie. Remember “no old gods in bfa”? Also a lie. They just can’t stop lying.

Yes, we gamers demand more handouts.

Imo, would be a lot more fun to gain the 2nd legendary sooner and use it on Zerith Mortis–rather than grind for the power up.

Make the experience more fun itself, not the reward after. And then the reward at the end can be something less…mandatory.

We get it, your a blizz chill. Very obvious. Your so used to this method in wow that you most likely haven’t tried anything non-wow like ffxiv, eso, or other mmos that do things RIGHT without borrowed power and classes not being a “grind the same garbage everyday to become stronger” which is the problem. This is why WoW is dying, I’m not asking for a hand out, but the fact that they keep timegating/locking out power from us through many stupid reasons is not cool. It’s killing wow.

to the surprise of actually nobody honestly.

every raider knew when they said “optional content doesnt need to be done by raiders” was an obviously not going to be the fact.

At this point anytime they make a positive promise of any kind, always interpret it as opposite day. And expect the worst.

Did they actually say this?

Does that rep require messing with that cipher system with the 1 week research times or does it look like ordinary daily quests? Because I really don’t want to bother with that system. I just want to do M+ without gimping myself.

Yeah I’d like source too. I don’t doubt it per se, but forums tend to overdramatize things.

So you rather have it exalted?

Well for me, it just seems obvious that the player power upgrades, like sockets, conduits, 2nd legendary, would all be tied to the new zone.

That’s how Shadowlands has been thus far.

He’s probably confusing that cipher system with the reputation, in his haste to be outraged about BROKEN PROMISES!!!

Also curious.

Anything to substantiate your outrage, friend? We’d like a source for these claims.

You had to research to get the 2nd Lego on Legion and that tool awhile. Will prob have to farm on alts here too for similar amount of time.

I just don’t understand why this requires anything at all. I’m cool with locking conduit upgrades and infinite runes behind a rep, but why double legendary? We can already wear both of the legendaries individually. Imagine if on patch day, it dropped and we could just use two legendaries because we are in the realm of the first ones or whatever. It is just lame and annoying.

Every time a PTR build drops for this patch, it feels like Anti-Christmas. What new thing do we have to dread about 9.2 this week?

One of the comments on WoW head says it will be reachable by raid open without a grind, so I’d say more likely to be ordinary daily/world quests with the campaign.

I can get why some are upset, but by no means is it going to be required in Blizzard’s eyes, this is where they tend to fall flat in regards to the player base. It is not that they don’t understand, but maybe more that they don’t even conceive of those that push to have the maximum power they can before doing anything.

Rep, especially to revered, tends ot be earned by just playing the game and doing minimal optional content.

Well, the belt and runecarver are locked to rep, but the runecarver deal could easily be get one to revered, buy it, all toons have it. The belt…well I’d expect that to be unlocked later on like they did with the Korthia things in 9.1.5.

Gotta love their insecurity in the content they put out.
Or they don’t want you be super uber powered when their raid goes live.
Either way their choices feel more and more tone deaf per se.
