New proposal to adjust PvP rewards based on rating without being detrimental

I have a new proposal to adjust PvP resource rewards based on rating.

I think that when players achieve a certain rating that they should get bonuses to their honor and conquest gains so they can cap faster early in the season, and ALSO be able to gear more alts later on.

So basically what I’m saying is that once a character gets to 1400 they should get a 10% bonus to honor and conquest gains which would go up by 10% for every bracket ALL the way up to AWC champion.

So here goes:

1400 +10% to honor and conquest gains
1600 + an additional 10% then
1800
2100
2400
AWC OPEN BRACKET
Top 8
Top 6
Top 3
AWC Cup Champions would then be capped after the first cup for the rest of the season.

(Every Row up there is supposed to be going up by 10%)

This way everyone is more motivated to succeed and try new things, or they can pivot easier if the meta changes too drastically.

[I guess for open bracket and beyond the bonuses would have to be given to the players’ accounts as some sort of token that they could apply to characters that they used to get to 2400]

I also had another idea for healers in 3s. There could be a quest that healers get after getting 2400 that’s repeatable and gives them 50k gold per account that they help to get glad (that hasn’t gotten the glad achievement for that season). This will also prevent more boosting services from being used, and it will be a more organic mechanism for the game.

Let’s NOT incentivize awc any more over ladder. SO many specs can be viable & strong on ladder but never really see tournament play because they struggle comparatively in those settings where countercomping and map selection is part of the game.

What I think this would ACTUALLY do is just decrease participation because people would get their gear in fewer games and stop playing.

Also, this won’t matter to 90% of players who are just gearing by afk war crate farming anyways (that really has to go).

I think that rerolling should actually be more difficult than it is now, as I think you should be more rewarded & incentivized for “maining” a class/spec.

This will have 0 impact on boosting.
