So I’ve been dabbling with Pres in raids and low dungeons - nothing too high as I try and learn.
I think I am getting the hang of healing combos but I just wanted to ask a couple
of things please.
Currently I am running Chronowarden but I wanted to give Flamekeeper a try. Is it worth it after the recent nerfs is my first question and does it heavily rely on tier (which I don’t have full set of yet) ?
Many thanks for any feedback
The nerf brings flameshaper inline with the echowarden and big blossem builds, but you have to line it up with the damage profile of whatever fight you are on, you cant just button mash it to 1 mil hps ahead of the number 2 healer in your group anymore. It does indeed rely on the 4 set though, as does echowarden. Blossem is the “best” build without 4 set.
Thank you so much for the reply - guess I also have to start to learn blossom now
Just to clarify, my comment is specific to raids. For dungeons, its chrono warden all the way, regardless of tier set.
I find Flameshaper to be really fun, but after the nerfs I would say it’s very fight specific. And I would never use it outside of raid. Chrono is just way more versatile and. Basically any fight the Flameshaper is good in, Chrono is also good in. Both are still viable in raid, but Flameshaper can be very feast or famine.
The 2 set bonus is awful, but the 4 piece is amazing for both builds.
Personally I switched back to Chrono after the nerfs, and it’s just a lot more satisfying tbh. Lots of skill expression and different ways to play it.
I’m also just strictly against blossom build on principle, but it can be very effective.
Thank you both for your reply’s - will try stuff out and see how it goes.
I was flameshaper but the nerfs hit it very hard and it less forgiving than chronowarden. I am now chronowarden and enjoying it.
