Yea, if they picked a low pop/ nearly dead server, finding dungeon runs are almost impossible.
I am playing on Pagle, there are plenty of people. I am going to just grind quests until TBC and skip dungeons. Just hope by the time I reach TBC people are doing the lower level dungeons there. Having to skip through all those dungeons will suck. I really want to experience group dungeons in classic, as I said, that is what I came to classic for int he first place, but have yet to experience.
Hey man, ignore the haters. There’s people like that everywhere, but there’s plenty of chill people too. It can be tough towards the end of the expansion like right now to find lvling groups. I would recommend trying to find a lvling guild, might run into more people there like you or even some high lvls with alts willing to help out.
Also use the built in LFG tool, a few months ago I lvled a warlock from 1 to 70 and was able to find groups for most things using the tool primarily.
I would note that most people don’t want to run BFD because it’s so far out of the way for alliance. If you were looking for a group for dungeons like deadmines, stockades, gnomer, or SM, you will have much better luck. So it may boil down to just picking a dungeon not many people run.
Hmm if only you had RDF, sure would be nice
What is this post even about? A rant about people’s behavior? Call your mom also to complain while you are at it. A social game needs investment, needs to put the work and actually play the game. Since you seem to need this information, at the end of an expac , people are doing endgame preparations. Doing dailies, gathering gold, finishing sunwell gear or power leveling alts. And here you are feeling entitled on dungeon runs. How about if you make friends first, join a leveling guild and people might help you.
I suggest waiting for the fresh servers, you’ll have plenty of people to level with and all of us will be starting from zero. I’ve also tried leveling in an already established server with my friends and we gave up at around 48, the experience is just awful, everyone is just afk buying boosts ![]()
Can’t speak for other servers, but Mankrik is a very social and non toxic dad server, tons of peeps leveling in the world, I was in and out of 3 different groups in hillsbrad last night with randos needing a certain mob, just went to to the area and asked if they needed so and so, then grouped for kill said ty and ran back to turn in quest.
Try asking the help of the anti-lfd folks on the forums, maybe they’ll help.
Sike and Spoilers: They won’t unless there’s something in it for them.
Oh yeah, that’s boosting which you need to pay for.
ADD LFD PLEASE.
Isnt that the whole argument for lfd, a tool that lets you group anonymously so you have no obligation beyond personal gain?
Best bet is to lvl up questing or wait for fresh servers in a few weeks since it is impoissible to get a group in lower lvls (its even hard getting groups at lvl 70 in the current state of tbc)
Which would be worse in your opinion? Spending 3 hours in LFG chat with toxic people making fun of you? Or spending 3 hours in LFG chat with zero responses of any kind, as if you’re not even there?
For most new players, both situations would likely lead to the same conclusion about whether to continue or quit, which begs a discussion about game design, but we won’t get into that here. I mean regardless of whether toxic people made fun of you or not, it doesn’t change the fact that the BFD group garnered zero interest.
What I’m asking is which of the above two situations would feel worse to you?
I just brought up a new hunter to 60. Only dungeons I got were RFC, SFK, SM, MARA (surprisingly), ZF, and ST (carried with a 70). Really wanted a RFD run so I could dual wield the swords for a while but it didn’t happen. I just leveled and took what I could get as I went. Still leveled really fast and easy thanks to crusade changes. The agony of leveling in classic is gone.
It’s a tool that efficiently forms groups automatically, with RDF ill tank for randos cause the small time investment makes it worthwhile. Without RDF ill just tank for my guild or when randos pay me.
im actually enjoying wow bbc its been fun
starts at the very end of tbc complains about leveling when 99% of everyone is just farming gold/taking breaks till launch lol ok
ur clueless
am i though no one has been in old world zones leveling for months this isnt new azeroth as been a ghost town since tbc launched
Maybe Mankrik is the exception. All the zones are active and pretty much full of super nice and courteous players more than willing to group for kills, Heck when I turned in my quests in hillsbrad last night, I had a full set of raid buffs just from randos passing by me
It’s the same on my realm, everything pre BC is dead and pretty much everything BC is also dead…
Definetly not a great time to start playing, I just jumped back into classic to start lvling my wrath main. Once the exp boost hits I’m hopeful players who are wanting to play WOTLK will start playing again but until then your looking at flying solo in a dead world…
I know a few people on Mankrik, maybe ill play wrath on horde this go around.
