I just started playing WOW, and have been having a wonderful time. The new player leveling experience has been really fun, I played a couple years ago and don’t remember it being this good. Ive been having enough fun, that with the sale going on, I decided to buy Dragonflight and am hoping to really get into this game and experience what it has to offer.
None of my friends IRL like MMOs, try as I might to persuade them, and making friends in game seems very hard. No one really emotes back, or seems to want to interact in a meaningful way. Im tired of playing MMOs solo all the time and really just want to have some friends to play and experience the game with. Im on MoonGuard right now because Roleplaying as a character in the world seems super fun and Im looking to build connections there.
I dont remember too much about my last escapade into wow, but I remember adventuring in a desert biome with a dwarf and a night elf, we just randomly met and went exploring the desert, as the dwarf was roleplaying as an archeologist and was looking for artifacts. I remember finding a small camp on top of a hill and watching the sun go down together after the day’s adventures, while we shared some supplies that we had packed… and it felt really magical and special. I just kind of want that feeling of investment and friendship with people in an MMO again so I guess im posting here as a last resort.
Looking to make friends with whom I can play this game and maybe some other games too. I’m open to joining a guild or a discord server even.
