I´m a 120 priest with around 330 item level.
The game doesnt seem to let me queue for Heroics: theres no option, only normal dungeon level queues?
I tried doing a level 2 mythic and got lucky: the tank was a paladin who practically auto healed. It was terrible. What item level do I need in order to handle mythics?
I´m trying to rush some of the achievements before the patch or expansion:
Heroics are locked at item level for queue, have to form your own group and get to the instance yourself if you don’t meet those reqs. Mythic is based more on finding a group to take you then ilvl as there are no queues for mythics, or raids above LFR.
That said, you can still do WQs, Emissaries, invasions, warfronts, etc to get your gear up to meet the requirements to queue up.
If you really want to play now - your quickest catchup if you have no higher main is going to be a combination of benthic gear from Nazjatar (385-400) and bind on account void gear from the rares in the Nyalotha assaults (415). The solo story quests for these will give you big upgrades as well - unlocking nazjatar gets you a rank 50 heart of Azeroth (430) and unlocking nyalotha dailies gets you a rank 0 legendary cloak (470). Once you have those pieces + a couple of easy 385 benthics and 415s from the rares, the items from the world quests should be at or close to their maximum of 415, high enough to begin getting you able to queue for heroics, LFR, and begin ranking up your cloak in visions.
I cant seem to do any Nylotha or Nazjatar or anything like that until I finish the Uniting Kul Tiras storyline… which takes hours and hours.

No, you shouldn’t need to do all that. Just hit max level, log out and log back in, you should get the 8.2 quest on the boat to chase Nathanos and get punked by Azshara.
If you have some gold there is normally some cheap decent armor on the AH to get you started.
Mythic dungeons start at 430 ilvl loot so you should be around 400-410 before trying them. And a +2 has even higher loot. In order to get some gear you should do najzatar (google/youtube the starting guide) and also do world quests for some easy 410 gear.
Nope. In order to go to nazjatar you just need world quests unlocked which requires a little bit of progress in the war campaign and friendly will the 3 bfa factions.
