Literally, that’s how I geared this toon at the start of the season. I chilled at the Suffusion Camp for like… a couple of hours, max, and was able to get almost a full set of gear out of it. I’m still rocking a couple of Suffusion pieces bc RNG hasn’t been my friend yet.

Queued 1 hour into keys and got declined. It’s a bad new player experience.
How long is this listed for? I’ve got a new alt and me and a friend spammed both low keys and hosted our own and we were near auto accepted into the 1st ones we applied to (tank + healer combo) and we just took the first decent picks for DPS.
102 sounds like someone let the group sit for like 5+ minutes to take this meme screenshot and it’s probably for something like freehold as well.

That would be why. It would not happen that way if you 2 were on a pair of DPS.
They dont invite you because they want very heared people/high rating people, its hard to get in. Run your own key.

Yea, not calling out OP, but all the keystone, raid and other achievements from as long ago as 2013 and other stuff make me question the new player part.
I wouldn’t think someone who actually played that account for all those years and done all those things would not be posting these sorts of things.

I just logged in my BM hunter, ilvl 404 and has only a single +++2 UNDR done this season, which I did last friday, 4 days ago.

This is the same experience I have on all my alts, and I’m playing late late night even, so I just find it hard to believe you tried for an hour and got declined from everything.
Other alt I’ve done keys is my unholy DK, in the 7- 9 range, again, almost always invited within a few seconds. Was ilvl 414 when i was doing keys. I also pugged normal raid 8/9 on the weekend. Invited the 1st one i signed up to.

What were you queuing into? What’s your item level? Have you done any previous runs?
All these things matter when trying to get into groups.
Was an alt. Main is done so far (all portals). so I thought about some +7 ilvl 407. There should some catch up for alts besides flight stone discount tbh
Do some lower keys first before trying to jump right into a 407. People don’t know you have an established main, nor that you can play your alt at the same level, so to them, you’re a fresh noob with no rating.
I don’t invite anyone with 0 rating to anything over a 2 or 3, even with the comment “2.6k io main, trust” or “ksh alt”. Those things, honestly, don’t matter for a character you’re not playing on. 
I agree, someone said something about making the first 2 tiers of Crests BoA, which sounds like a decent compromise to me! But, I guess we just gotta wait and see what they come up with!
Yes i have no doubts a expressive amount of wow players play because of addiction.
However this doesnt change the fact that the treadmill to start doing m+ is horrible boring.
