New player going blindly into classic

it is bad that i am doing it? i never played classic but i dont like using guides in my first playthroughs in any game i think it ruins the feeling of the game and adventure.
I know they say classic is “hardcore” since you need way more time to do everything than in retail but i dont consider time invesment to be a difficult parameter.
Does having this mentality is gonna be bad for me like if other players are gonna find me annoying?

You are not prepared.

That’s the exact correct way to do it.

Classic evolves organically. Just play the game, it will all work out.

The fact that you’re new going into Classic is a great thing! It’s true that it will be difficult the first time around, but it is totally worth it. A lot of people wish they could go back and play it for the first time again so you are in a good spot for sure.

I will, the main reason why i play warcraft is because i love the story and been able to play the game after the events of warcraft 3 makes me excited

Wont last, you’ll be downloading Questi! in a week.

That’s a totally fine way to start. You’ll pick it up as you go and more importantly meet up with people who will help you out.

Honestly? Best way to do it. I didn’t touch raids for ages at first, because I was really enjoying all the five man stuff and just exploring the world.

If i’d gone into Vanilla with a “I’ve gota level fast to do X, Y & Z in endgame” mindset, it would have made for a less enjoyable experience overall.

Why? im one of those very few people that like to read the quests im doing, i like the inmmersion

I never used a quest addon during Vanilla and never will in Classic. That takes a lot of the fun out of the game in my opinion. Nothing wrong with those who do use those types of mods, but not everyone uses them or cares to.

To the OP: Welcome to Classic as others have said! I would recommend not using any type of quest addon and just allow yourself to get lost and immersed in the world. Sounds like your plan is a good way to go about it.

I don’t think Blizz is ready either :stuck_out_tongue:

What you’re going to find, is a real sense of accomplishment when you get something difficult done.
Nothing is handed to you, that make your efforts feel so much more rewarding than you’re used to in a video game.

Nope, you’ll have a lot of fun and learn as you go. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or tell people that you’re new, people will generally be kind and help you out. Try not to let anyone who’s a douche to you get you down, they don’t represent the community as a whole.
You’ll probably find a lot of people are envious and wish they could start over with fresh eyes. Hope you have a great classic experience!
