New player, classic era or anniversary?

Hi

I want to give hardcore a try and I’m confused what the difference is between the classic or anniversary hardcore servers and where should I start?

nothing really different except the anniversary is newer and has more people, might be better in the anniversary if you want to try your luck in the dungeons because they have not opened yet, hard to get a group in the classic. just basically a fresh start.

I may be wrong, but don’t the anniversary servers have the buff/debuff cap removed? I know they added dual specs which personally I love.

Just not 100% on the debuff/buff cap change.
