Anyone think there will be a new plate class anytime soon? I’m not a fan of the current plate wearing classes in the game atm. Except maybe warrior.

I have been hoping for a new mail class to balance out the numbers. Mostly to take away all that free loot that hunters get.

But you see, you can’t. Cause it’s meant for hunters. Even that wand is a hunter wand.

I mean, with personal loot is barely even matters.

Huh I had not thought of it that way. I guess personal loot means that hunters get less loot since there are fewer classes that use mail.
Chances are if Tinker is a thing (which I hope it isn’t), it will be leather or mail.
This. Nobody gets “free loot” anymore because of the division of different armor types amongst the playable classes. When a piece drops, we’re not all rolling on it against each other anymore. Every character has the same opportunity to get gear from pretty much every source.
More mail-wearing classes wouldn’t be bad, per se, though, just so there’s more variety in what people are wearing or transmogging. But there’s no more imbalance.
I’d be super down for tinker if I can be one as a light forged draenei or nightborne
It only matters if you raid with a consistent group, as you usually end up sharing your gains with someone of the same armor class as you. We currently only have 2 hunters, no shamans in our raid group so when mail drops it usually gets disenchanted because no one can use it and they already have everything.

The potential is really high for Tinker, I said I hoped the next class wouldn’t be tinker, and I don’t mean I wouldn’t like to play one I would, I just want Blizzard to take more risks… I think.
The next plate class will be shadow/void “paladins.”
We need MAIL classes asap. Not plate.

As you can see plate is just fine alongside clothies. Leathers have a step up and mail have 2…
The time was Cata, at least I think it was Cata, with those plate “mage” dudes (Battlemage Npcs?)
I was kind of surprised we never got those, when you saw them in game.
Well I dunno what new class they could bring in. Mechano gnomes will just be another allied race reskin, so don’t count on those doing anything. Would be nice to get a plate wearing caster or something. Especially seeing as how wearing cloth does nothing like what it used to back in the day. Glass canons no longer being a thing and all.
