I know very little about computers.
I’m looking to buy a new PC and have no idea what to get.
All I play is WoW, I don’t and won’t play other games so I don’t think I need the best of the best.
I would prefer prebuilt just for convenience.
I’m looking for recommendations or at least what specs I should look for when I’m shopping.
thanks in advance!
It depends on your budget. Off the top of my head:
CPU: AMD 7800X3D or 9800X3D
RAM: 16GB minimum 32GB recommended
GPU: RTX 5060/4070 if you can swing it RTX 5070 recommended
pcie gen 5 SSD would be a plus but they may not advertise that.
If that’s way over budget places like Costco sometimes have really good PCs marked down.

Thank you. I ended up impulse buying
ASUS - ROG GM700 Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 7 8700F - 32GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060Ti 16GB - 1TB SSD
Is this a good setup?
Now is an absolutely horrible time to buy. GPU prices are up by 300% and RAM prices are up by 600% and this used to be the cheapest part of the computer. There’s a memory shortage at the moment so I would wait as long as you possibly can if you don’t absolutely need a new rig right now I would 100% wait because all of this has skyrocketed PC prices to unreasonable rates.
If you absolutely must buy now however I would not get anything that doesn’t have an AMD 7800x3d or 9800x3d. World of Warcraft really loves those processors because it’s a cpu-based game. You will get roughly a 30% FPS boost just by having one of those CPUs
