New PC .... good deal?

Cool. Get the MX500 1tb for $103 instead of 90 for the BX then.

The arguments against SSDs are petty, IMO.

Ok yeah 500 watts is very weak. 800 minimum IMO.

At a glance, that sounds like kind of a lot for a relatively low spec machine for the price.

You’d expect a bit of a price premium to cover the costs of assembly, but there’s no reason to accept dated or lower spec components (like the GPU/CPU here).

You could probably shave off a few hundred by buying the parts yourself and looking for deals.

Prebuilt PCs always charge more than its actually worth to make a return on the cost of the parts.

Don’t skimp on your SSD. Buy a 1 TB SSD and put it in yourself. Put Windows on the 256 and put your games on the 1 TB.

The one thing that i’m a little hung up on is the HDD, I would go for a SSD as that will play the game much better than a HDD. Along with allowing your computer to run faster and better. The only draw back from my understand is that a SSD gets worn out faster than a HDD, but its give and take at the end of the day. Currently I have a HDD and a SSD and simply use the SSD to run the game which was considerably better compared to when I was running it on the HDD.
